Customer Centricity President to
Participate in 2008 CROP Hunger Walk
Program designed to raise money for
hunger-fighting programs locally and in over 80 countries globally
Hudson, New Hampshire, September 24, 2008: Customer
Centricity, Inc. announced that its president and founder, Craig
Bailey, will be participating in the 39th Annual CROP WALK
sponsored by the Church World Service. Each year, the CROP
WALK brings together over 185,000 walkers from over 2,000 communities to raise
money and awareness to fight hunger in
over 80 countries through individual fund-raising events.
This year's local event will be held in Nashua, New Hampshire on
Sunday October 26, 2008. The CROP WALK program helps provide
tools of hope that empower people to meet their own needs.
Up to a quarter of the monies donated are returned to the
community where it was raised to help local soup kitchens and
food pantries and other local hunger-fighting programs.
"World hunger is a very important issue to me," said Bailey.
"I am pleased to be part of such a great program. This is
the sixth consecutive year I have participated. The CROP WALK allows me to make a personal
contribution -- not only by giving, but by meeting other similarly
committed people working to fight hunger on the walk itself."
Last year's CROP WALK raised over $16 million globally to
support the hunger-fighting work of the Church World Service,
both locally and around the world. Those resources were
used to provide wells, seeds, tools, and training to African
farmers -- most of whom are women.
